CERNER special interest group

What is it?

HDAA's Cerner SIG meets periodically to discuss analytics issues in and around the Cerner electronic health record and related applications. The group discusses Cerner Millennium reporting, the HealtheIntent platform, as well as other analytics products. It also hosts conversations about extracting Cerner data into external analytics environments.

The pandemic put a halt to discussions, but the conversation renewed in 2023.

Recently completed events

June 2024:  This special popup event brought the Cerner and Epic SIGs together.  Requested by new Epic clients coming from Cerner, the group got advice on the journey from those who have travelled that path.  

April 2024:  Amanda Schmitz discussed predictive analytics with Cerner at Keck Medicine of University of Southern California.

August 2024: Todd Mullins of Memorial Health discussed data integrity in Cerner Millennium

In April. Zenia Reyes-Bardelas from Baptist Health of South Florida discussed HIM delinquency reporting in Cerner.
